[Firmware] Samsung Z1 gets Software OTA update version Z130HDDU0BOB3

 

Samsung Z1 Firmware Update

The Samsung Z1, the first Tizen Smartphone, has received a software Over the Air (OTA) update today, taking it to version Z130HDDU0BOB3. This is the fourth rapid software update that Samsung has provided for the device since launch, and Samsung is able to do this as it has full source code access, not like other Operating Systems like Android. Smart camera users have also noted the enhanced support that Samsung is providing the NX1, that is also enjoying have frequent updates.
This update is fairly small, 7.6Mb and there is no change log at the moment, so we can presume this is mainly a bug fix update.

Manually Check

If you do not get a automatically prompted to update your firmware, you can manually check by using the steps below:

  • Select Settings
  • Select About Device
  • Select Software Update
  • Select Check for updates
