Valtteri Halla is Director, Technology and Innovation at Intel. I met up with him at the MeeGo Summit in Finland and I wanted to hear first hand of his passion for MeeGo and what makes him tick. Here is what he had to say:
MeeGo is an Open Source accumulating continuum which has opportunities for companies to progress and its great to be part of the momentum to push this project forward. I look forward to MeeGo computing in its various form factors with upstream components.
One of the messages that I like is a message said by Carsten Munk:
“MeeGo is a business mans distribution”
MeeGo helps startups by lowering the entry boundaries and encouraging innovation with Solid Business Values – Creating technology as a solution to a problem with no licensing issues and equal access to technology in a dynamic environment. Intel is a company that can make it happen with MeeGo with strategic investment and product development. Big companies can make it happen and small companies can benefit from this vision.
