The 3D launcher by Somyac was recently added to the Tizen store earlier this month and already it has got a new version which brings on more features to it. The new features in the new 3D launcher version 1.0.3 are available when the option (Menu) key is pressed.
One of the feature includes an embedded live wallpaper that makes the smartphone come alive even when it is not in use. The launcher also brings on board a new audio and vibration settings. The device vibrates on touching the screen or when actions on the menu section are executed. In addition, the time format can now be customized to display either in the 12-hour format or the 24-hour format unlike on the previous version where only the 12-hour format was available.
Yet another new feature now available on the new version of the 3D Launcher is the flexibility of users to switch Tizen launcher wallpapers and the 3D launcher wallpaper. The 3D launcher wallpapers are attractive and fun but there are some who may wish to retain the wallpaper they are using on the Tizen launcher. That is where this new feature comes in.
The 3D Launcher app comes with a unique cube wall which allows users to display phone home screen content in the beautiful 3D shell. The Cube scrolls around on all four sides and it gives the impression of a 3D display.

The app is presently available on the Tizen Store for download on all of Samsung’s Tizen-powered models – Samsung Z1, Z2, Z3 and Z4 running Tizen 2.4 and higher. With a size of just 3.10MB, the app is super light and would likely not cause any form of lagging.
