Now for something a little different. Tizen SmartPhone news has been dominated by mainly one player, which also happens to be a power house behind Tizen, Samsung. All eyes are now on Mobile World Congress 2014 for a expected Samsung Tizen Device unveil.
A couple of our Tech friends, Yuya Adachi and Naruto Takahashi have been digging around in the JIRA pages for Crosswalk on Tizen, and have found a ZTE SmartPhone Tizen reference device for 32bit x86 Intel Architecture, running Tizen 2.2.1
The actual model number is the ZTE Geek v975 which has the Intel Atom Z2580 32nm 2.0Ghz SoC processor with a PowerVR SGX 544MP2 GPU beating at its heart. This device has already been released at Intel Developer Forum (IDF) in the spring of 2013 at the China National Convention Center in Beijing.
