CES 2025 has already brought some flashy gadgets this year, but Withings’ body-scanning health mirror is certainly turning heads. While still in concept mode, Omnia is a smart mirror designed to do so much more than just reflect your image. It can measure and display your health metrics, give you feedback through an AI voice assistant, and might even connect you with a doctor for a telehealth consultation.
I tried a smart mirror a decade ago in Dubai. Felt futuristic back then. Many companies tried since then without success. But Withings has a strong history of successful #healthtech (sleep, BP, watches). Excited to see what if they could bring this home. https://t.co/YTfy7TPix9 pic.twitter.com/oZHBDan6qJ

Key features expected from the Omnia health screening mirror
The Omnia Health Screening Mirror is a full-length smart mirror gives users a snapshot of their health on its surface. The French health tech company says it displays key vitals like overnight and resting heart rates, vascular age, blood pressure, and even alerts for irregular heart rhythms. Beyond that, it tracks weight trends, muscle-to-fat ratio, water and bone mass, visceral fat levels, activity, sleep quality, and nutrition.
The mirror is also said to gather data from other Withings devices as well as its own built-in sensors. Its base can measure weight, heart health, and even perform metabolic scans. In addition, there’s an AI voice companion onboard to answer any questions, provide real-time feedback, and keep users motivated with guidance.

Omnia works with the Withings app, which integrates with Apple Health. Data can sync directly to the Health app for trend analysis and detailed charts. While Omnia is still in development and was showcased at CES, Withings plans to roll out features like AI guidance and clinician reviews in the app later in 2025.
The Omnia concept appears to be bundling several current health tech trends into one package. Smart mirrors that display info, make video calls, and play audio aren’t exactly groundbreaking—we’ve seen similar spin-offs such as NuraLogix’s Anura MagicMirror or the CareOS Themis Smart Mirror.
Similarly, smart scales that measure heart rate, take EKGs, and analyze body composition have been around for a while. AI chatbots became a big deal in health tech in 2024, with major names like Oura and Fitbit jumping on the bandwagon.
Who owns Withings?
The firm itself had been acquired by Nokia in 2016 for $191 million, but was sold back in 2018 for an undisclosed sum, after various disputes with Apple. Last month, Withings announced a partnership with the French government, which is investing €20.7 million ($22.5 million) in technical innovation and AI to advance preventative digital healthcare through Project DEEP.
