Is it a killer? Seems like we are perpetually waiting for either an Android or an iPhone killer, but today we are looking at the Samsung NX500 and seeing if this little beast can be thought of as being a Canon 5D Mark III killer! The 5D is Canon’s top range DSLR camera and surely it shouldn’t be bothered by this little challenger? Bit like David and Goliath, Isn’t it? The NX500 is a very capable Smart camera with 4k video capability, 28-megapixel BSI CMOS Sensor and a loads of Smart features.
Check out this video by Digital Rev that compares both cameras and although the presenter waffles on a bit at the start, his findings near the end of the video are quite Interesting. The Canon wins in the stills department, but gets a good spanking when it comes to video.
