We have already seen the Samsung Z1 released in India , which was then followed by Bangladesh. Now the Z1 is to be released in Sri Lanka as the Tizen Store has officially opened its doors for developers to sell their paid apps. This was confirmed to developers this morning via email and should indicate the actual Z1 launch should be imminent.
Insider sources say that 500,000 Samsung Z1 smartphones have already been sold so far this year, and it is hoped that the Z1 can do equally well in Sri Lanka, with targeted value added promotions like we have already seen in India and Bangladesh. Samsung seem to know what their customers want.
The 100% revenue share is still in effect for developers, where they get ALL of the revenue from their app sales until January 31 2016.
