We have been following the Samsung Tizen GT-i8800 for a slight while now and its great to see that it has been tested and certified interoperability of Wi-Fi Alliance Wi-Fi. Through this certification we can see that this device supports n(WLAN) IEEE 802.11 a/b/g and n on 2.4GHz band and 5.xGhz.
Other connectivity features of the Wi-Fi confirmed to be supported by the GT-I8800 smartphone is Wi-Fi Direct ®, WPA ™ for Enterprise and Personal and WPA2 ™ for Enterprise and Personal. There has also been optimized for WMM ® and WMM ®-Power Save and have access to Passpoint ™ and Wi-Fi Protected Setup ™.
