Samsung have announced today that they will be making the Tizen based Samsung Gear S available in the U.S. beginning next Friday, November 7. The Gear S brings the functionality of a Smartphone to your wrist with its integrated 3G radio, which can make calls but can also connect to 3G data. The Gear S will be available in both White and Black colors on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless. You will be able to also be able to grab the Gear S at Samsung Experience Shops in Best Buy.
Pricing
- AT&T – $199 on a two year contract, Launching Novermber 7
- Sprint – $384 without a contract or $16 per month on a two year contract, Launching on November 7
- T-Mobile – $349 without a contract, or $14.58 over 24 months, Launching on November 9
- Verizon – TBA
At $349 outright or at $14.58 per month on a two-year contract, T-Mobile would be selling the Tizen-based Gear S smartwatch at the cheapest price. T-Mobile is also offering a special $5 per month plan for unlimited data and texting with up to 500 MB of data. Verizon is yet to announce its rates for the Gear S.
