Latest Marvel Rivals leak points to more X-Men members joining the roster

Marvel Rivals is continuing to provide the content with a fresh new Season and more events to sink your teeth into.

At the beginning of Season 1, we saw two members of the Fantastic Four entering the fray — Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman — with the remainder coming later in the season.

However, thanks to the latest leak, we now know that more heroes are on the horizon, straight from the Xavier Institute.

New X-Men heroes coming to Marvel Rivals

That’s right, even more X-Men characters are joining the growing roster of heroes in Marvel Rivals, giving the Avengers a run for their money.

According to prolific dataminer X0XLEAK, there will be at least five new X-Men heroes being made available in Marvel Rivals including the likes of Gambit, Rogue, Beast, Nightcrawler, and Jubilee.

Some of these are some real favorites, with Gambit and Jubilee in particular being ones that are really exciting the fan base.

As for what roles we can expect from the leaked list, there’s an assumption that Gambit will be a Duelist, Rogue will be a Strategist, and Nightcrawler will be a Strategist.

At this current moment, Beast and Jubilee’s roles aren’t known but based on our knowledge of the Marvel Rivals, Beast could be placed in Vanguard but utilized as a hybrid, both dealing damage but having tank-like abilities also.

Jubilee, with her powers probably utilized on the offensive, she could be another Duelist, joining Gambit, taking on foes from afar with energy-based attacks.

The timescales of when we’ll see the new X-Men in-game are also up in the air at this time.

However, with the developers stating that there will be significant updates every three months with each half season bringing “a new hero”, it is safe to assume that we could see at least a couple of the above before Easter.
