Pokemon TCG Pocket Daily Gift explained and how to get

Even though Pokemon TCG Pocket is a free app, if you want to get as many cards as possible, spending real cash is the way to go.

While you’re given two packs a day, you can accelerate the time between the next set using items earned in-game so maximizing your stores is key.

One way of doing so is by claiming your Daily Gift in Pokemon TCG Pocket and here, we’ll explain exactly what this is and how to get it.

What is the Pokemon TCG Pocket Daily Gift?

The Daily Gift in Pokemon TCG Pocket is essentially a free reward for logging in on any given day.

Despite it being called the ‘Daily Gift’, you don’t actually claim it from the Gifts section marked by the present icon in the top right corner of the home screen and instead, needs to be accessed via the Shop.

Once the in-game day timer rolls over to the next day, simply enter the Shop and press on the Daily Gift to claim it.

While many players are under the illusion that there are three items to pick from here, the three icons in the ‘Gift’ are just part of the graphic.

What you’ll actually receive from picking it up is one Wonder Hourglass and one Shop Ticket which isn’t much, but at least it’s better than nothing.

The bronze-looking box isn’t an item and is just an icon for the gift itself, so don’t go scouring your menus searching for something that doesn’t exist!

This Daily Gift may change over time, potentially switching out the Wonder Hourglass and Shop Ticket for a Pack Hourglass and Emblem Ticket, for example, which would keep things fresh, especially when a new set comes to the game.
