One of the talking points of the MeeGo Conference 2011 was MeeGo at Sea. Yes we have discussed MeeGo in a car where it will compete with other IVI solutions, but the sea is a fertile untapped playing ground. A Yacht is a complex vehicle / Hotel on water and as such screams out the need for an Interconnected IVI solution. At the moment there is a issue with one box having one function. With MeeGo we will be able to change that.
There is a Meetup in Malta in October which is the Isle of Open Source. Hopefully I will be present to cover it.
Whatever the future we can definitely say that these are the best looking slides that has ever been presented at any technical conference for now and possibly the future.
