Malta company Two Shepherds Limited opens online casino Jackpot Lounge

Dream Team Gaming has joined forces with a Malta company, Two Shepherds Limited, to get it licensed to work as an independent operator in the country. The company will use White Hat Gaming’s Player Account Management software to provide an online casino called Jackpot Lounge.

Jackpot Lounge is live now, but isn’t available outside of Malta as of the time of writing. When looking into Two Shepherds Limited, one of the companies using that name appears to be an e-commerce focused website, raising some questions about why the pivot to running a casino. ReadWrite has reached out for comment about this.

Malta based company thrilled to open new online casino

However, despite the confusion, everyone involved is incredibly excited about the move. In the press release, David Glickman, the CEO of Two Shepherds Limited, said:

“This is a landmark in our journey to being a fully independent operator, functioning across multiple jurisdictions and licenses.

“Working with Dream Team Gaming, to redesign and elevate each of our brands, our aim is to retain the essence of what makes our brands special to better meet the needs of our growing and diverse audience.

“We will be launching in a new regulated market soon, too, so watch this space!”

Adding to that, the CEO of White Hat Gaming, Phil Gelvan, said:

“We remain focused on expanding our presence across the globe, continuously evolving and enhancing our PAM solution to empower iGaming operators with the technology needed to elevate the player experience and drive operational efficiency.”

Malta has come under some scrutiny in the last few months, after it was found that casinos and companies could use Bill 55 to negate the European Union’s rulings. Austria is currently trying to determine through its highest court whether or not the island is breaking EU law through its bill.
