At the end of last year there were whispers that Samsung would release a S5 Smartphone running Tizen, and we could potentially see it launched at Mobile World Congress. That didn’t happen, but fast forward to today, and we have the Samsung Z to launch at the Samsung Z Unpack event in Russia on the 10th July.
According to some shipment details on the Zauba site, we can see a shipment manifest stating “Samsung Galaxy S5 Tizen test phone” shipping from South Korea on its way to India, according to the shipment details.
Could Samsung be doing some arbitrary testing on the Samsung S5 for Tizen or is there a little bit more to it? Feel free to tip us 😉
