How to stash your loot in Stalker 2

Stalker 2 throws you into a harsh post-apocalyptic environment, asking you to survive with little to no gear.

However, as you’re making your way through the game, completing missions, and uncovering some nice loot, you’ll quickly fill up that backpack.

Instead of being over encumbered, you can stash your gear elsewhere and here, we’ll reveal how to do this so you can access it at a later time.

How to stash weapons, equipment, and items in Stalker 2

If you’re finding yourself with a stacked inventory in Stalker 2 but want to pick up more loot, you can offload your current finds into something called a Private Box.

These private boxes are located in every Safe Zone (Base) and can be found next to the bed where you’re able to sleep.

The only exception to this rule is the Slag Heap in the Garbage Region. For this Private Box, you’ll need to head to the Trader and you should be able to find it in the same room.

What is fantastic about this Private Box storage system is that you’re actually able to access the same items that have been placed in there regardless of which box you put them into.

This global storage can be crucial, especially in the late game where you may need some vital gear to complete the tougher missions.

It saves you a bunch of time also since you won’t need to head back to the different regions where you might have stored some rare gear.

They have infinite space too, meaning you can literally throw anything and everything in there, no matter the value, and return to it later if you find a use for it or want some extra cash.
