Fortnite has had some pretty crazy crossovers in recent years spawning a plethora of wild and wacky skins that many desperately need for their locker.
In Chapter 6 Season 1, it’s all about legends coming to life, bringing with it a bunch of ronin-themed cosmetics as well as one gigantic beast – Godzilla.
Here, we’ll take a look at how to get the Godzilla Evolved skin in Fortnite so you can embody this titan and equip some silly Kicks to complete the fit.
Fortnite Godzilla skin: How to get
If you’re eager to get into the skin of one of the most recognizable monsters ever created, you’re sadly going to have to wait a little.
This is because even though Godzilla features in the marketing for the launch of Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1, the skin isn’t obtainable until much later.
In fact, you’ll have to wait until January 17, 9 AM ET where the Godzilla Evolved Outfit will be available from completing a set of Battle Pass Quests.
This Battle Pass will set you back 1,000 V-Bucks so ensure you’re stocked up before that January date.
While the Quests haven’t been revealed yet, you should have plenty of time to check them off since Battle Pass progression is available until February 21 at 2 AM ET.
What’s more, the official Chapter 6 Season 1 blog post states that you’ll be able to complete the Quests in “any experience”, meaning that if you find a way to grind them out without needing to pray for good luck in the regular modes, you can explore that avenue instead.
This Godzilla Evolved skin mimics the looks of the monster from Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire so if you like the new ‘pink’ spikes rather than the more traditional blue/green, this skin is a must get.
