How to get Glyphs in Diablo 4

If you’re making your way into the endgame of Diablo 4, you’ll likely be wanting to pick up as many Glyphs as possible.

These Glyphs are integral to build creation but you may not have even come across one in your playthrough.

Below, we’ll talk you through how to get Glyphs in Diablo 4 so you can utilize them to make your character that bit more powerful.

Where to find Glyphs in Diablo 4

Glyphs can actually be obtained from different high-level activities but the absolute best place to pick some up is via Nightmare Dungeons.

While not a 100% guarantee, you can loot Glyphs from chests, when defeating elite enemies, and even from the Nightmare Dungeon final boss.

So making your way through the whole of these dungeons is the way to go, not just a partial completion.

If you’re wondering where these Nightmare Dungeons are in your game, they only unlock once you complete the campaign, being in World Tier 3, and finishing the first Capstone Dungeon.

You will also need a Nightmare Sigil to activate the dungeons, so keep that in mind, otherwise you’ll be stuck at the entrance.

If you haven’t got these prerequisites boxed off, you’re going to be out of luck when trying to farm Glyphs.

What are Glyphs used for in Diablo 4?

As for why these Glyphs are important, it is because you’ll receive various bonuses when slotting them into your Paragon board.

Since there are different types of Glyphs with various rarities, it’s one of the more grindy elements to the game, and you’ll need to pick up a lot of these to perfect your build.

When you are levelling your character, you will unlock more and more Glyph slots, so when you are looking to make those final tweaks, Glyphs are where you need to focus your attention.
