With little over a month to go now until we finally get our hands on the amazing-looking God of War Ragnarök for the PC, Sony has now just released the system requirements. Helpfully they have given us five different flavors ranging from the absolute bare minimum, all the way up to the way we all want to play the game, on Ultra.
To get to play in all its glory with the game running at 4K and 60 frames per second you are going to need to be packing at least a 4070 or equivalent, with a decent processor and 16GB of RAM. If you aren’t bothered at all about graphics then you can get away on minimum settings with a 1060, which is cool. It will look rubbish, but it’s cool you can go that low.
How big is the God of War Ragnarök install?
Sony is saying that you are looking at a 190GB install size and this should be on SSD, so this is going to take up a sizeable chunk of any storage space you have.

Do I need a PlayStation Network account to play?
Hmm, despite previous fusses over forcing PC players to have a PlayStation Network account, it seems you will indeed need to have one to play the game on a non-PlayStation that you bought on a digital storefront that had nothing to do with PlayStation. A sad sign of the times.
