Football Manager isn’t coming out any time soon, so how about managing a whole stadium instead?

While your Football Manager team and plans may lie in tatters now we have the news that the game has been delayed severely, we need to turn our attention to other things. The likes of FIFA and UEFA are often hammered by fans for badly organized tournaments but could you do any better?

Copa City entrusts you (the mad fools) to organize tournaments the world can be proud of. In the words of game developers Triple Espresso tell us, “Top clubs trust you to organize football events for them—bring Flamengo and Arsenal to Warsaw or Berlin. Promote the event to boost profits. Arrange city infrastructure, manage stadiums, ensure safety and logistics. Transform the city into a football capital.”

So far the game has license deals in place with Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Club de Regatas do Flamengo as well as the Olympastadion in Berlin and the PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw. More licenses are promised.

It’s a bit of a unique Tycoon premise if a bit niche perhaps, but we like niche in these parts.

Currently, Copa City is slated for a release at some point in 2025. We have just got a new video showcasing some of the gameplay so have a watch of this and it should clear a few things up.

If you have ever fancied running your own stadium and football event, the game you have been waiting for is finally on the way.

Gameplay Highlights:

  • Strategic Resource Management: Players must balance the demands of organizing a match with the long-term growth of their city.
  • Unique Maps & Challenges: Each city layout presents its own set of challenges, requiring careful planning of stadiums, fan zones, and infrastructure.
  • Dynamic Fan Engagement: Satisfying fan needs is key to a city’s success, with every decision contributing to an unforgettable match day.
  • Immersive Football Experience: Players don’t just prepare for the match—they orchestrate the entire football experience, from start to finish.
