The Tizen Platform which was launched back in 2011 and since then it’s been steadily getting better. In recent times, we have seen the introduction of many new apps in the Tizen Store. Today, we have two brand new products which are actually the first of their kind in the Tizen Store. The first set of GIF makers has just been introduced to the Tizen Store and it is coming from two different developers, Mohammad Saffaf and Yoho Studio. GIFs can be used for multiple purposes from creating of short videos to sharing of expressive reactions in emails, texts, and even work messages.
GIF Maker By Mohammad Saffaf
This app allows you to create lovely GIFs from Images and Videos which you can save and share with your friends. To get started, click on Menu button to start converting videos and images to GIFs. You can set the start position of the video where the GIF starts and the duration. You can set the frame per seconds for the photos to create a nice album. Please note that the accuracy of the GIF duration from a video file is estimated and not precise. For example, if the user selects the duration of 5 seconds then the duration of the cut part of the video could be between 4.5 to 5.5 seconds.
GIF Maker By Yoho Studio
Just like all GIF makers, this app allows you to create a short video in animated GIF image. It is quite easy to use. Simply select a video and set the duration in fps then click on the “make” button.
The GIF Maker By Mohammad Saffaf is only 2.04 in size while the one by Yoho Studio is about 11.92 MB. Thus both apps are not that heavy and should be downloaded seamlessly. If you encounter any problem downloading or using these apps, please send a feedback to the developers or leave a comment on our comment section below.
Although Android still dominate most devices today, the exponential growth of the Tizen OS is overwhelming and cannot be overlooked. One thing that is for sure is that for Tizen to really grow, it has to have a very large store that would contain all if not more than we have in any other store. To this end, we have seen programs like Tizen Mobile App Incentive Program and the Indonesia Next Apps (INA) 4.0 which is designed to encourage developers so as to grow the Tizen Store. It appears that these incentives are paying off because as of now, there are thousands of developers on the Tizen platform and over 3000 applications.
