Exciting times are ahead of us as we see more Tizen products being released to various markets. One that we are particularly interested in is Smart TV, a new platform with a new app ecosystem, that opens the doors to new opportunities for developers.
Samsung Electronics are holding two Smart TV Developer Days, with the tagline “the future awaits you”, on 19 May in Madrid and 21 May in Barcelona. Spain has almost 5 million active users of these Smart TVs with a penetration rate of 23%, which leads other countries such as Germany (20%), United Kingdom (17%) or US (16%).
Agenda
The Smart TV Developer Days will offer 6 hours of technical training on Tizen Samsung Smart TV. Samsung experts will be on hand to offer assistance with the new Tizen Samsung Smart TV SDK. The provisional agenda of the conference includes the following (although it may experience minor variations):
