Samsung recently teamed up with Live Nation to bring live streaming in Virtual Reality to the Gear VR. That partnership has yet again presented another amazing opportunity for Samsung Gear VR owners to enjoy this VR service as Samsung and Live Nation has teamed up to bring users of the Gear VR headset the opportunity to watch Coldplay’s “A Head Full of Dreams Tour” live in virtual reality from Soldier Field Stadium in Chicago.
This is the first time Coldplay’s concert will be streamed live on the Gear VR headset to fans in over 50+ locations. The live stream would give fans around the world the opportunity to enjoy Coldplay perform live in one of its historic concerts at no cost at all. In case you don’t know, Coldplay’s “A Head Full of Dreams Tour” is the fifth-highest-grossing concert tour of all time ($413,637,518), according to ticket sales data reported to Billboard Boxscore. The concert was launched in March 2016 and since then has welcomed 5 million people.
The Virtual Reality live stream will even enable fans to get a clear view of the event which promises to be electrifying and entertaining from a totally new and immersive perspective. According to the schedule, the live broadcast will be available on Samsung Gear VR via the Samsung VR service on August 17, starting at 8:30 pm CT. The concert will be available for replay later on after the concert for a limited time.
