Call of Duty games are naturally a competitive experience as you face off to win games, top the leaderboard, and generally have a respectable kill-death ratio.
What ramps this up even further is Ranked Play and with the introduction of Black Ops 6 Season One, the mode is back.
If you’re a fan of getting some Ranked Play games going, you’ll want to know what rewards are available for putting your all into an even more challenging fight than usual.
Here, we’ll take a look at what Black Ops 6 Ranked Play skins are on offer for taking part.
Black Ops 6 Ranked Play skins explained
There are a total of eight possible Ranked Play skins to unlock in Black Ops 6 with some far more attainable than others.
Reaching specific ranks in Black Ops 6 Ranked Play will reward you with Home (Rogue Black Ops) and Away (Crimson One) skins that vary in design based on your Rank level.
These skins are available for the “Competitor” Operator and are awarded as soon as you reach the required rank, rather than at the end of the season compared to previous titles.
Here’s how they’re broken down by rank:
- Gold Ranked Skin: Reach Gold Rank
- Platinum Ranked Skin: Reach Platinum Rank
- Diamond Ranked Skin: Reach Diamond Rank
- Crimson Ranked Skin: Reach Crimson Rank
- Iridescent Ranked Skin: Reach Iridescent Rank
- Top 250 Competitor Skin: Finish a season in the Top 250 leaderboard
- Top 250 Champion Skin: Finish a season as number overall on the Top 250 leaderboard
As you’d expect, the final two skins are an extremely tough get, requiring you to go above and beyond to even have a shot at securing them.
The Top 250 Champion in particular is likely going to go to a professional Call of Duty player since you’ll have to sink some serious hours into mode while also needing to be one of the best there is to play the game.
Beyond rank-based rewards, Black Ops 6 offers a skin for hitting Career Win milestones, something that’s achievable for the more casual player.
You’ll need a total of ten wins and you can accumulate these wins over multiple seasons to unlock the Ranked Competitor Skin, which is essentially the ‘basic’ version of the outfit donning a gray/silver colorway.
