The festive season is almost here in India, and so is the “Amazon Great Indian Festival” festive season sales. The sale begins on 10th of October and will run until October 15. Amazon India, however, has already started teasing us with some of its biggest deals and offers. So with less than one week left for the sale to commence, here’s a sneak peak of what the online marketplace has to offer this festive season.
The sale will go live 12 hours earlier for Amazon Prime members (12 Noon on 9th Oct), and it’d be wise to subscribe to Amazon Prime if you don’t want to miss out on any particular deal.
Amazon Great Indian Festival 2018
The biggest attraction of this year’s Amazon sale is the One Plus 6, which will be available at Rs. 29,999 (MRP Rs. 34,999) for the first time ever next week. Amazon has also teased an exchange offer on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which itself is expected to see a price cut. Amazon also promises the lowest prices ever on the Redmi Y2, Honor 7X, Honor Play, Realme 1, Moto E5 Plus, Huawei Nova 3i and Vivo Y83. Xiaomi Mi A2 will also be available on discount for the first time. Various mobile accessories, such as USB cables and headphones, will also be available cheaper during the sale.
Apart from smartphones, this year’s Amazon sale will also be cutting down the prices of smart TVs, smartwatches and refrigerators, along with a number of household and fashion accessories. Fitbit Versa will be available with at least Rs. 3,000 discount, while the Samsung Gear S3 is also expected to see a big price cut. Samsung’s 24-inch curved Full HD LED monitor will be available for less than 10k (MRP Rs. 16,000). Amazon’s Fire TV Stick and Echo devices will also be available with a price cut.
Amazon will also be launching some new products including Mi TV Pro (starting at Rs. 14,999) and Vivo V9 Pro (Rs 17,990) this festive season.
Aside from the discounted prices, Amazon is also giving 10% instant discounts on SBI Credit and Debit Cards, and that’s a huge bonus for us Indians. You also get up to Rs. 2,300 cashback if you pay using Amazon Pay Balance. And topping up the Amazon Pay Balance by Rs. 3,000 itself rewards you with Rs. 300 cashback. Prime eligible cities will get a 2-hour delivery service on select items.
