We do like to cover a good sim peripheral here at Readwrite Gaming, and while flight sims and racing sims are the mainstream fodder, there are also a huge amount of players in slightly more niche areas such as Farming Sims, like the upcoming Farming Simulator 25 and trucking sims such as Euro Truck Simulator and American Truck Simulator. These games have a hugely popular following but still benefit, immersion and gameplay-wise by being played with a steering wheel.
Having said that the majority of gaming steering wheels are designed with car racing in mind and are not ideally suited to driving a 40-wheeler across Iowa. Aerosoft is changing that – and we will have news of another company getting into the space tomorrow too.
