If you read our hands-on review of HootSuite’s fancy new social analytics dashboard and have been meaning to try it out, you just ran out of excuses.
The company is offering users a $50 credit for reports to make up for last week’s 15-hour service outage. HootSuite was one of many sites that experience downtime as a result of Amazon Web Services server issues.
Even though their terms of service promises a refund after 24 hours of downtime, the company decided to offer this discount to placate frustrated customers who couldn’t access the social media management platform for 15 hours last week.
They’re making a $50 credit available to existing customers, with Pro and Enterprise users getting an extra $50 on top of that.
Users can enter the coupon code HOOTREPORT under “Add A Coupon” on the site’s billing page. Pro and Enterprise users can throw in HOOTPROREPORT as well.
