A few weeks ago, Samsung has announced that its new Smart TV dubbed The Frame has commenced global roll out. This smart TV was first launched in Switzerland and Norway on the 30th and 31st of May respectively and since then, we have seen The Frame appeared in the U.S. market as well as Samsung’s home market, South Korea. The Frame which is one of Samsung’s most recent innovation runs on Tizen OS and also doubles as a gallery-like art display.
This week, two models of The Frame became available for pre-order in Russia. The 55-inch model is going for 129,999 rubles ($2,205) while the 65-inch model sells for 199,999 rubles ($3,392). Potential users who pre-order this product between July 17 and August 13 will be eligible for a FREE white, beige or walnut frame which allows you to perfectly combine the TV with your room’s interior.
The Frame combines technological innovation and sophisticated design. It has a 4K resolution display with top-of-the-line image quality. The bezels around the display of this TV makes it look like a frame. This smart TV with UHD display is equipped with a unique “Art Mode” such that when it’s not in use, it automatically goes into an art mode where different artworks are displayed. You can switch between modes by clicking on the power button. The Frame uses thin transparent optical cable, Invisible Connection, coupled with Samsung’s unique wall mount flush which makes this smart TV to look more like a painting on the wall.
The Frame’s interior panel designed with light and motion sensors. The light sensor ensures that the TV provides just the perfect lighting for the room and when there is nobody in the room, the motion sensor detects it and the TV automatically goes into energy-saving mode. When someone walks in, it automatically powers up.
