Recently Eldar Murtazin has restated that Nokia will only ship a total 92,000 units of the Nokia N9. When he initially stated this figure many (including me) did not believe him but now knowing that countries such as the UK, France, Germany, Italy, US and many others are not getting it, it all makes sense.
Well, when I say it all makes sense this figure still doesn’t. A poxy 92,000 units will not see Nokia get a return on their Research and Development Investment in MeeGo Harmattan. Is this were the might of MicroSoft comes to play ? A Pay off for killing MeeGo and only distributing the N9 in select countries so it doesn’t challenge Windows Phone ? Yes, Now it does make sense.
