PayPal have announced the release of their “PayPal” app, which is designed to run on the Tizen Samsung Gear 2 / Gear 2 Neo, and is downloadable from the Samsung Apps store. Whilst we all love our mobile phones, there are times that we could do with keeping them safe in our pocket. Gear 2 users will now be able to check-in to pay with PayPal at thousands of stores in eight countries.
The applications will allow users to:
- Make payments from their smartwatch
- Check their PayPal balance
- Get payment notifications
- Save offers from local stores and retailers
