The Mi Band 5 – Mi’s latest fitness band is now creeping closer to its launch in European countries. However, it’s predecessor, the Mi Band 4 has become a top-selling fitness band. A report had revealed the data of the global ranking of the wearable market. Xiaomi, the parent company of Mi, had posted a banner celebrating the rank on their Facebook and Twitter.
Outside of China, the Mi Band 4 is known as the Mi Smart Band 4. However, thanks to the good set of features and good battery life on the Mi Band 3 helped the next generation gain more popularity with consumers.
The Mi Band 4 Features
The Mi Band 4 has an AMOLED 0.95-inch screen with a 120 x 240 resolution. As well as this, the device has a total of 512KB of RAM and 16MB of memory. The fitness band has a 135mAh battery that takes ≤ 2 hours to charge. If left on standby, the device will stay alive for about 20 days.
As this is a fitness band, it is natural for it to have a good water-resistance rating should the user want to go swimming. I’m happy to inform you that this device has a 5ATM water-resistance rating which means that you can go 50 meters underwater with the device for about 10 minutes.
