Email service provider iContact is holding an interesting contest (we aren’t involved, just like contests). Make a short video on why you either like or hate social media and post it before December 5th. Simple enough, and it sounds like a lot of fun too.
Judging criteria includes:
- Relevance to theme (25%)
- Creativity (25%)
- The highest number of public votes per Entrant (50%)
The top five vids in both categories will be entered into the final round and voted on by the public. The first place winner in both categories will each receive $10 grand. You can vote daily if you so desire.
So far it is too soon to see much video posts but the “Social Media is for Losers” on the hate side is very adorable and has an element of truth.
