AT&T, One of the large Telecom carriers based in the US, is excited about the potential uses of the 4G LTE connected Gear S3 frontier. One of the unique propositions that AT&T has among its competitors is their NumberSync service. In case you were unaware of this offering, its a service that effectively lets you leave your smartphone at home and take your number out with you courtesy of the Samsung Gear S3, this was also compatible with the S2 before it.
Using NumberSync you are able to make and receive calls as well as the ability to send and receive text messages, all using your S3 that will have the same mobile number as your smartphone.
You can also use the Gear S3 frontier to also manage your DIRECTV and home, without the restrictions of needing your smartphone to hand. Use the S3 frontier as a remote control for DIRECTV and search for TV programs, switch channels, and also access the menu in order to schedule recordings. It also supports AT&T Digital Life app so you can monitor your connected home directly from your wrist.
You can grab the smartwatch for $249.99 with a 2 year contract, or $349 without a contract. You can pre-order the S3 now with a delivery date of 18th November from the AT&T Website.
