The Tizen Developer Summit 2013 is the 3rd Tizen conference and is the first one to be located in Asia, to be held at the Ritz-Carlton in Seoul, Korea on November 11th and 12th. The aim is to bring together businesses and individuals in the common goal in developing Tizen as an open platform for a wide range of devices.
This is a technical conference for Tizen developers, App developers, ISVs, Platform designers, Operators, OEMs, Hardware vendors, Software vendors, Open source enthusiasts, and anyone engaged in Tizen. A full schedule will be made available once the CFP closes and speakers and session topics have been selected.
There will also be a Tizen Hackathon that will take place on Monday, November 11 from 6:00pm – 10:00pm and on also on the next day Tuesday, November 12 from 8:00am – 10:00pm. It is open to all registered TDS attendees and is free to attend. Please click here for registration information.

Below are some of the areas that could be interesting for CFP. The sessions are not limited to these topics:
Application development and deployment
- Upcoming and popular applications (development stories, sharing experiences, etc.)
- Tizen API and SDK (tutorials, news, tips and tricks for making great applications, development tools, and helpers)
- App development for HTML5/Tizen native application strategies for Tizen devices
- Design guidelines and User Experience (different Tizen device categories, form factors, crossing the boundaries between them, and differentiation)
- Deploying Tizen apps worldwide, including monetization, internationalization, and localization
Device/Product development
- New devices and product development stories (experiences, process, challenges, differentiation)
