Sniper Elite: Resistance – All Stone Eagle locations in Dead Drop

Sniper Elite is back, and while we may have a new sniper to play with this time around, what has made a return are all the usual bonus bits to hit and easter egg targets to find and destroy.

The second mission, Dead Drop sees the return of the (in)famous Stone Eagles – large stone statues symbolising Nazi power.

Generally each mission will have three Stone Eagles to locate and one you do you can blast them with your sniper rifle on the road to completing the challenge.

Some of the Stone Eagles can be quite difficult to spot, but as a rule of thumb scan the tops of buildings and even edges of the map to spot ones that are prominent. On some levels you may be lucky and be able to spot multiple eagles from useful vantage points, there was a level in the last Sniper Elite game where you could get all three from the same spot.

All Stone Eagles in Dead Drop

Let’s find the three eagles that are in the old town here. We’ve have circled their locations on the map and as you can see there is a central point where you can definitely look to see if you can pick off multiples.

There are always multiple vantage points to hit an eagle from. All three on Dead Drop are on buildings, so it is a relatively gentle start but as ever, they can blend in with existing masonry and stone work.

From your starting point on the map it is best to to hit them in the order of left to right as that is the most natural way you will progress through the level anyway.

As you hit them you will be told of your completion for the level and they will also go towards your overall mission success story as you progress through the game.
