Samsung Z4 Mobile has been Announced, heading to the Tizen Developer Conference

Today, Samsung has announced it’s next Tizen smartphone, the Samsung Z4, a 4G smartphone that supports 4G LTE, VoLTE, and VoWiFi. The mobile is said to combine performance and essential features with a simplified user experience. This is a 4.5″ screen that incorporates a 2.5D curved glass that makes the mobile easier to hold.
As we thought this is the first Tizen smartphone to be running Tizen 3.0 out of the box and has a Quad-core 1.5Ghz processor, 1GB RAM, 4.5-inch (480×800) screen, Dual SIM, LTE Cat 4 support and has a 2,050mah battery. Do not worry about the small sounding battery, this is Tizen and therefore lasts a lot longer than the competition 😉
“We’re dedicated to providing our customers with devices that offer smarter mobile interactions,” said DJ Koh, President of Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics. “The Samsung Z4 brings a simplified mobile experience to first-time smartphone users and represents our ongoing commitment to expanding the Tizen ecosystem.”

The Z4 has some excellent quick features, which is a way to access frequently used functions, by using different combinations of physical buttons or swiping the screen. Some of the features include Quick Talk, Quick Torch, Quick Launch of the camera or Quick Switch without returning to the home screen. Other features for the mobile include efficient battery management that will enable users to squeeze out maximum battery life Battery Notifications and a Power Planner. With Power Planner, you are able to pick from three different levels depending on what you are doing and how long you want the smartphone to last.
On the photography side, the Samsung Z4 has a 5-megapixel front camera with an F2.2 lens, LED flash that comes with a few different camera modes. On the back, we have another 5-megapixel camera, but this time with dual LED flash that is said to be able to light up objects further way. Pictures can be taken by showing your palm and saying “cheese” or by waiting for Auto Selfie, which uses facial recognition to take sharp and accurate pictures.
We will see the Samsung Z4 being launched this month in select countries, starting with India, and will be available in black, gold and silver depending on the market. If you want to see the device first hand, then head on over to the Tizen Developer Conference next week as it will be showcased there. May 16-17, 2017.
