Do you love Facebook and facebook videos? Well, your not alone and the people at facebook know it and have therefore announced a new Facebook video app for TV, which includes Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Samsung Tizen Smart TV, with more potential platforms to follow. The new dedicated app will now join other top apps such as Spotify and Vimeo for you to stream Music and Video respectively.
Video should really be enjoyed on the bigger screen, at the best resolution possible, so this is a welcome announcement. Last year, Facebook rolled out the ability for you to be able to stream video from your smartphone direct to your Smart TV. Now, this new announcement means that you no longer need a mobile to be part of the equation.
You will be able to watch videos that are shared by friends, Pages that you are following, and also top live videos from around the world. You can also catch up on videos you’ve saved to watch later, as well as revisit videos you’ve watched, shared or uploaded.
