Samsung has officially confirmed that they will release their phones on January 14th 2021 at the Galaxy Unpacked event. The tagline of the event being: “Welcome to the Everyday Epic.” The event will kick off at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET. Samsung will release the S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra, the latter being a more premium version of the phone. There is a lot to expect from these devices as the excitement has been growing for a long time now.

The phones have the Samsung Exynos 2100 or Snapdragon 888 based on market locations. There is a video of the phone just below this paragraph.

Specifications

The S21 will have a 6.2-inch OLED FHD+ (2,220 x 1,080) display, the S21 Plus will have a 6.7-inch OLED FHD+ screen and the S21 Ultra should have a WQHD+ (2,960 x 1,440) display.

The rear cameras of the S21 and S21+ are made up of an ultra-wide 12-megapixel sensor and a 12 megapixel wide angle version, as well as a 64-megapixel telephoto camera.

Front cameras

The front camera has a hole punch theme that was the same as last years models, the S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra. There isn’t any information, so we had to make predictions. They are probably going to use a 10-megapixel sensor on the S21 and S21+and a 40-megapixel sensor on the S21 Ultra.

Performance

Samsung’s phones will either have Samsung’s Exynos 2100, depending on the market or the Snapdragon 888, which is said to be a very powerful processor. A five core test with Qualcomm gave the processor a score of 1,135 and 3,794 for multi-core. Samsung’s Qualcomm Exynos 2100 scored a lower 1,108 for single-core, but a better 3,963 for multi-core. The phone will have at least 12GB of memory in all of the S21s.

Storage

The storage options for the S21 and S21+ are believed to have 128GB to 256GB of storage options only. The Ultra, however, has a 512GB option of them all. Unfortunately, for android users, there will be NO MicroSD slot, which may mean you will not have an option to increase storage capacity. They may have to use storage from the cloud.
