All the Tizen hysteria at the moment has been centered around the Gear S3 and rightly so as it is a very handsome piece of tech. First the smartwatch went on sale in Canada, soon thereafter the UK, and then Germany. Many websites had previously been reporting that the S3 was to be delayed until early 2017, but we told you all that you needed to just relax and the S3 will be with us shortly.
Now, the good news is that Best Buy in the USA has started offering the next Tizen smartwatch for $349.99, that is for both the Gear S3 Classic and also the Gear S3 Frontier. We were overjoyed with this news as our American cousins do not like being left out when it comes to device launches. At that time the delivery date was rumoured to be around mid-November but it hadn’t been officially confirmed. Unfortunately all celebrations eventually have to come to an end and Best Buy now reports that the S3 has ran out of stock.
If you visit the Best Buy store you now have the S3 smartwatch listed as Coming Soon, but the button for placing an order has been greyed out, therefore they are not accepting anymore orders at this time. We will let you know once they re-open pre-orders.
