Doom Port to Tizen Reference Phone RD-210

This is the port of Game Doom onto the Tizen 2.0 Reference Phone RD-210 done by Daniel Juyung Seo. Some of the points to keep in mind are:

  • Easier to package SDL and SDLDoom because Tizen is based on standard Linux
  • iMac bluetooth keyboard used
  • Some sound issues that need to be investigated further
  • Tizen has 720×1280 resolution but Doom has 320×200. So the game looks very small

Even though there were some problems, porting SDL games to Tizen was very simple.
I could just package the games with rpm and install it on the device.
