Samsung Electronics usually has their big reveal of their next big Smartphone (Note x) in September, at the IFA Event in Berlin since 2011, but it looks like Samsung are looking at moving it to mid-August, according to a person familiar with the matter. The reason behind the move is that they wanted a bit more room between their announcement and Apple Inc unveiling of the next iPhone.

With the launch of the Galaxy Note 5 we were expecting the launch of the Next Gear Smartwatch, so it could make sense for us to see both unveiled together at the new event, which according to the insider is being planned for a major U.S. city that hasn’t yet been decided. Samsung has been in development with the Next Gear watch for more than any of its predecessors, and now the final push might be just around the corner.
