The Galaxy Watch Active 2, Samsung’s latest smartwatch / fitness tracker, has had an update being distributed for the last week or so. The good news today is that the UK and other parts of Europe and Asia are beginning to receive this update. After downloading and applying, you will be on software version R820XXU1BSK4 / R820OXA1BSK4. The Download size is only 16.83MB.
This update is a bug / performance Improvement fix and does not Introduce any new features. The biggest update we are looking forward to is One UI version 2.0, but there is no news about it landing any time soon. The Samsung update fixes a bug that caused the Always on mode to disable. Improved accuracy of calorie measurement based on heart rate sensor. Last, and not least, Improvements to the stability of Bixby features.

You sohuld get the update soon and be automatically notified to it, but just in case your not, you can manually check. Launch the Galaxy Wearable app -> Scroll down and select Watch sfotware update -> select download and Install. Follow onscreen Instructions.
