What do all these MeeGo version numbers mean?

An excellent quick post from Paul Farquhar (Intel) on the version numbering associated with MeeGo image files.

If you are planning to install a newer image on your ExoPC (How-To) and you
want to download it from meego.com then you may have wondered what all
the versions numbers mean.
Here is the link: http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/builds/
And this is what it looks like:

Clark, an Intel colleague, helped on to understand this:
1.2.0 is where the weekly builds for updates to 1.2.0 go
1.2.0.90 is where the pre-release weekly builds for 1.2.1 go
1.2.80 is where the pre-release weekly builds for 1.3 go. (this is linked to trunk now).
Thanks Clark!
