Don’t Nod are back. If you were a fan of the amazing Life is Strange games then you are going to be nervously downloading Lost Records hoping it will be as good. Spoiler, it really is, and like Life is Strange 1 & 2 will probably be talked about in gaming circles for many years to come.
The studio has decided to split the game into two halves – Bloom, which we have here, and Rage, which comes out on the 15th of April. We imagine the system reqs for Rage will be similar, but we will confirm that nearer the time.
For now, you will want to know how to get the very best out of Lost Records so compare your PC setup with the below recommendations, have a watch of the trailer, and get prepared to get emotionally involved in a videogame, rather than just shooting bananas with sniper rifles.
Lost Records: Bloom System Requirements
While we aren’t talking about mega rigs here, the requirements to get the best out of Lost Records: Bloom are not exactly entry-level either.
Minimum Requirements – Playable, but Limited
A system with an Intel i7-2700K or AMD FX-8350, paired with a GTX 1050 Ti or RX 560, will run the game, but only at low to medium settings at 1080p, likely hovering around 30-60 FPS. With only 8GB RAM, expect longer load times and potential stuttering, especially if other applications are gobbling up your RAM.
Recommended Requirements – A Smooth Experience
A Ryzen 5 5600X or Intel i5-11400, along with an RTX 3080 or RX 6800XT, will allow for high settings, higher resolutions, and smoother frame rates. This setup ensures consistent performance over 60 FPS, even with advanced visual features.
