Is Throne and Liberty Crossplay/Cross platform?

The latest offering from NCSoft and Amazon Games is taking Steam by storm, just as New World did before it. While we hope Throne and Liberty remains popular for a little longer than New World did there is no doubt it has got off to a flying start on Steam with hundreds of thousands of players already joining in the fun.

Yes, we have had a few server errors along the way but what new MMO doesn’t have that these days? The big question is though, will we be able to play Throne and Liberty crossplay style with our friends? Let’s find out.

Throne and Liberty Cross platform options

The great news is that we can all be friends and play together as Throne and Liberty is cross-play from launch. That means PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox players can all play in perfect harmony together from day one.

This is big news and as we have seen the Steam player count is very high, when you combine this with the influx of console players as well it means Throne and Liberty has got off to a flying start in life.

To play with your friends on any system you must make sure you are playing on the same world/server however in order to be able to see them, so make sure you coordinate this from the off.

Does any version of Throne and Liberty have an advantage?

While we would always choose a keyboard and mouse over a controller where it was offered, the PC version of Throne and Liberty also has controller support baked in, which means all three formats can play in the same manner.

Whether you get any advantage from quicker reaction times if you are handy with a keyboard and mouse is unclear at this time, but if you are thinking the controller kids are having it easy, you can certainly join them here.
