The Gamescom trailer for Infinity Nikki was one of the most annoying(ly catchy) pieces of music I have ever heard in a videogame. That hasn’t stopped – and possibly helped with – the attraction of some 30 millions players who have all pre-registered ahead of the launch of the Nikki ‘em-up when it arrives on the PC and PlayStation – the first Nikki game to make it to a “normal” non-mobile format.
Below you can see the new trailer that has been released to mark the 30 million pre-registrations milestone. I have also linked the original Gamescom ‘song’ trailer as well in case you missed it. I’ve heard it so you must as well. I demand it.
The 30 million mark means all registration bonuses have been unlocked, rewarding players with 50,000 Blings, 300 Threads of Purity, 20 Resonite Crystals, and a 4-star outfit, on top of launch rewards that will be revealed at a later date.
We also have news of a closed beta for the PC, iOS and Android versions of the game that is upcoming. No date has been shared yet but you can fill your details in to see if you are granted access when the time comes around.
Infold Games clearly have a big hit on its hands here when Infinity Nikki launches on 4th December. The game is free to play, but oh Lord it will end up costing you if you get into it! That’s gacha games for you.
What on earth is Infinity Nikki?
In Infinity Nikki, players are tasked with collecting Whimstars and acquiring special outfits that give Nikki with unique abilities – from floating and gliding to animal grooming and more. Each new ability allows Nikki to explore deeper, discover hidden paths, and interact with the vibrant open world around her. Alongside her, Momo, her loyal companion, offers a camera feature for players to capture memorable moments throughout their adventure.
