How to Prestige in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

If you’re someone who loves to grind Call of Duty, you’ll know that one of the main goals is to make it through the various Prestiges that are on offer.

In recent years, this has been a little underwhelming but with Black Ops 6, Treyarch has taken the whole process back to its roots while also providing some serious rewards for putting the time in.

Here, we’ll reveal how to Prestige in Black Ops 6 so you can start making it through the different available tiers.

How to Prestige in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

If you’re looking to prestige in Black Ops 6, the first port of call is to reach Level 55.

While confusing, you won’t be able to Prestige as soon as you get to this point because you technically need to increase this Level 55 to ‘Max Level’ which is essentially Level 56.

After making it to these lofty heights, once you finish the match in the mode you are in, you will actually be prompted to Prestige if you wish.

You can decline this if you’re unsure but don’t worry as this isn’t your one and only chance, you can choose to Prestige via the menus at any time.

To do this, you’ll need to enter the Barracks option when in the Black Ops 6 lobby. Once in here, you’ll then need to move into Progression, and there will be an option to Prestige.

After hitting the Prestige option, you’ll open up the Prestige Menu where you’re able to see all ten Prestiges.

Select the Prestige you’re up to and confirm your selection by holding down the button to reset your rank.

Something to note here is that once you do so, you’re able to go back into the Progression menu and select a Permanent Unlock.

You get one of these per Prestige so ensure you choose wisely!
