Episode Battles
The best method of getting Zeni in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is through Episode Battles as these provide the most Zeni versus time invested.
Completing an Episode Battle will net you around 16,000 Zeni every time and can even be replayed to receive the same amount again.
You can beat these on the easiest difficulty too, and while you won’t unlock any optional extras this way, if Zeni is all you’re after, definitely utilize Weak to make the process as fast as possible.
Tournaments
There are various tournaments in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero that you can use to get a big chunk of Zeni.
These come in the form of Yamcha Games, World Tournaments, and Cell Games, for example, and will net you Zeni. For winning a World Tournament, you’ll receive 160,000 which is pretty huge amount all things considered.
Others provide varying amounts of Zeni but are well worth doing even if they do take longer than a simple one and done battle.
Summon Shenron
If you’re on the hunt for Dragon Balls in the game, once you pick up seven, you’re able to summon Shenron who has various rewards for you to choose from.
