Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered specs

Looking at the specs for Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, here’s a breakdown of what kind of PC you’d need depending on your preferred gaming experience:

Minimum (720p at 30 FPS)

  • PC Requirements: You’ll need at least a basic gaming setup, with an Intel Core i3 or AMD Ryzen 3 processor, 16 GB of RAM, and an entry-level GPU like the GTX 1650 or Radeon RX 5500 XT.
  • Gaming Experience: This setup is enough for 720p resolution at 30 FPS, so expect low-to-medium quality visuals with occasional dips in frame rates. It’ll run, but don’t expect top-tier graphics.

Recommended (1080p at 60 FPS)

  • PC Requirements: A mid-range build with an Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5, still 16 GB RAM, and a graphics card like the RTX 3060 or Radeon RX 5700.
  • Gaming Experience: You can play at 1080p with smooth 60 FPS, which is perfect for a solid, enjoyable gaming experience without overly demanding hardware. Graphics settings are likely medium to high.

High (1440p at 60 FPS / 4K at 30 FPS)

  • PC Requirements: For high settings, you’ll need an upper-midrange to high-end PC with an Intel Core i7 or AMD Ryzen 7, along with an RTX 3070 or Radeon RX 6800 graphics card.
  • Gaming Experience: This setup can handle 1440p at 60 FPS or even 4K at 30 FPS. This is where the game’s visuals start to shine, showing off better textures, lighting, and effects. It’s a great choice if you want more detailed visuals without going all the way to 4K 60 FPS.

Very High (4K at 60 FPS)

  • PC Requirements: To max out the settings, you’ll need a recent high-end system with an Intel Core i7-11700K or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X processor, 16 GB of RAM, and a top-tier GPU like the RTX 4080 or Radeon RX 7900 XT.
  • Gaming Experience: This setup provides 4K resolution at a smooth 60 FPS with all visual bells and whistles. You’ll get the most immersive, stunning graphics possible, but only high-end rigs will handle this comfortably.
