Hailey Welch, “Hawk Tuah Girl” has recently reappeared after a massive cryptocurrency scandal. However, the latest episode of her podcast, “Talk Tuah” now only exists as a leak, as it was quickly brought down.
Joining Welch on the podcast was Faze Banks, CEO of Faze Clan, an esports team. Banks is now claiming that the episode was supposed to be canceled after suspicious activity surrounding the coin.

Welch went viral in 2024 for answering a question in a TikTok video. She was last “seen” in December after a cryptocurrency rug pull occurred on her own “meme coin.” Effectively, as people invested in $HAWK, a crypto coin built around Welch, users cashed out at its peak, leaving others holding the now worthless bag.
Welch and her team have denied that they were part of the rug pull. This has been backed up by internet investigator, Coffeezilla, who actively exposes crypto scams.
Her last previous public appearance online has been mocked due to its bizarre nature. During a live broadcast over X Spaces, Welch allowed those who worked with her on the cryptocurrency side to field the questions. She then abruptly left, claiming she was going to bed.
Welch, Hawk Tuah girl, urged to ditch team
So in an attempt to hear Haliey Welch’s side of the Crypto scam story, I agreed to do her first podcast back.
I had heavy stipulations including;
1) Not allowing markets to be manipulated by leaking this episodes existence before a resolution was found.
2) Her team finding… pic.twitter.com/X3TW5nZmtR

In the podcast, Banks and Welch discuss the controversies around the rug pull. The leaked podcast has Welch claiming that her income for the episode would go towards animal charities.
On X (formerly Twitter), Banks made a lengthy statement saying that a condition for doing the show was to avoid market manipulation. This meant not leaking that Banks – who is heavily involved in crypto – would be appearing on the show to discuss the still-live meme coin. He also made it expressly clear that no one on his team has ever bought the token.
However, after noticing that the episode was leaked and the “price of $HAWK is pumping”, Banks called it off. He now insists that Welch – who he speaks to “direct” – “Fire everybody”.
The podcast leak itself is uneventful in terms of actual content. It is mostly overrun with Banks and other co-hosts overrunning the conversation instead of allowing Welch to speak. Of the few times that Welch actually talks, it is revealed that she never ran her own Twitter account. Banks calls this a “red flag”.
Welch also states that she is now “horrified” of the Hawk coin. As of writing the coin itself has a market cap of $6, 961, 871.74, with 11, 052 holders. Talk Tuah last posted two months ago.
