The devices can do everything you expect from a smart speaker, like operate your connected lights, play music and they also let you watch YouTube videos scroll through your photos and, make video calls all using voice controls. According to Turkstra, Google hopes that people will be able to interact with technology.  With Google showing off a set of four additional smart display devices, it is in competition with Amazon Echo which was unveiled last year. Google is betting that these touchscreens would soon become a home gadget stationed at the kitchen counter.
Google equally announces that more companies would be making speakers that include its assistant. Such companies include; Lenovo, Sony, LG, Altec Lansing, Anker Innovations, Bang & Olufsen, Braven,e, L, Jensen, Klipsch, Knit Audio, Memorex, RIVA Audio and SōLIS. Sources have confirmed that the device will have a screen similar to the 7-inch Echo show. It has also been named Manhattan. Google is still keeping mum on the full technical details of what of the screen’s ability. But, it’s  going to be an Android tablet that’s custom designed for IoT with a speaker that has full voice interface. The device will offer YouTube, Google Assistant, Google Photos and video calling and run on Andriod things. The device seems almost ready but it will not be out until later in the year.
